Terms of Service

Last updated: November 1, 2026

Beta draft. These terms are still being reviewed and may be revised before final approval. Sections marked “Pending legal review” are not final. Business entity details will be added once confirmed.

These terms apply when you use TruckScout. "TruckScout", "we" and "us" mean the TruckScout service and the people who run it. By creating an account or submitting an event, you agree to these terms.

Eligibility and accounts

  • TruckScout is for food truck operators, their staff, and event organizers using it for business.
  • You must be old enough to agree to these terms where you live.
  • Give accurate account information and keep your sign-in details secure.
  • You're responsible for activity on your account. Tell us if you think someone else has used it.

Permitted and prohibited use

You may use TruckScout to find events, track your applications, and keep records for your business.

You may not:

  • Copy, scrape or resell TruckScout listings or data, or use automated tools to collect them.
  • Try to access other users' information, admin tools, or parts of the service you're not allowed to use.
  • Interfere with the service, overload it, or get around rate limits or security controls.
  • Submit false, misleading, unlawful or spam content.
  • Pretend to be another person, business or organizer.

Organizer submissions

  • By submitting an event, you confirm you're authorized to list it for the organization you name.
  • Every submission is reviewed. Submitting doesn't guarantee an event will be listed.
  • We may edit listings for clarity or accuracy, decline them, or remove them at any time.
  • You let TruckScout display the event details you submit. Your personal contact details are not shown publicly.
  • Standard listings are free. Submitting doesn't create a partnership or endorsement.

Event information

Event details come from organizers' websites and submissions. We review listings, but dates, fees, deadlines and requirements can change or be wrong. Always confirm details on the organizer's own page before applying, paying or traveling.

Events may be cancelled, postponed or changed by organizers without notice to TruckScout.

No guarantee of results

TruckScout doesn't guarantee that you'll be accepted to an event, that an event will happen, how many people will attend, or how much you'll earn. Profile Match Scores, travel estimates, profit figures and community figures are estimates to help you decide. They aren't promises or business advice.

TruckScout doesn't take or process applications. Application links send you to organizers' or other third-party websites. Those sites, their fees and their terms are controlled by them, not by us. Your agreement with an organizer is between you and that organizer.

Your information and content

  • You keep ownership of the business information, documents and records you add.
  • You let us store and use that content only to run and improve TruckScout, as described in our Privacy Policy.
  • Only upload content you have the right to share.
  • If you send feedback or suggestions, we may use them to improve TruckScout without owing you anything.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, misuse the service, or put other users at risk. You can stop using TruckScout at any time and ask us to delete your account through the Contact page.

Beta service

TruckScout is in beta. Features may change, be removed, or be unavailable at times, and coverage is still growing. Sample events may appear for testing and are labeled DEMO.

Pricing and future subscriptions

TruckScout doesn't currently charge for anything, and there is no live subscription billing. Planned prices are shown on the Pricing page.

Before paid subscriptions open, we'll publish subscription terms covering price, billing, cancellation and what happens when a subscription ends. You'll only be charged after you choose to subscribe.

Disclaimers and limits of liabilityPending legal review

TruckScout is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we aren't responsible for losses caused by inaccurate event information, organizer decisions, third-party websites, cancelled events, travel, or interruptions to the service.

Disputes and governing lawPending legal review

If you have a problem with TruckScout, please contact us first so we can try to fix it. Governing law and how formal disputes are handled will be set out here after legal review.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll change the "Last updated" date above and, for important changes, let signed-in users know inside TruckScout. Continuing to use TruckScout after a change means you accept the updated terms.
